Kredit Motor Disebut Turut Bikin Bus Solo-Jogja Terpuruk, Kok Bisa?

Kemudahan membeli sepeda motor dengan sistem kredit dinilai turut andil membuat bus bumel Solo-Jogja kini ditinggalkan penumpang.

Solopos.com, SOLO — BisMania Community (BMC) Korwil Soloraya menyebut kemudahan masyarakat untuk memiliki sepeda motor dan kendaraan pribadi melalui fasilitas kredit turut andil membuat jumlah penumpang bus Solo-Jogja terus menurun.

“Gara-gara kredit motor orang lebih gampang. Misal ke Jogja naik bus buat kerja lalu beralih naik motor dari Solo ke Jogja. Seperti halnya bus-bus kecil Soloraya. Dulu ada Tulus Rapi Boyolali-Solo. Bus Nusa dan bus Wahyu Sukoharjo,” kata Ketua BMC Soloraya Arga Kusuma Senna kepada Solopos.com, Selasa (4/5/2022).

Arga mengatakan pada masa jayanya, bus bumel tersebut pernah ramai penumpang. Bahkan beberapa perusahaan otobus (PO) memiliki jam keberangkatan yang rapat, yakni beberapa menit saja.

Namun kondisi berubah ketika kredit sepeda motor semakin mudah. Terlebih lagi kredit sepeda motor yang semakin terjangkau bagi masyarakat.

Menurut Arga, kehadiran Kereta Api (KA) Prambanan Ekspres alias Prameks kemudian kereta rel listrik (KRL) kian mengalahkan moda transportasi khususnya bus bumel yang melayani trayek Solo-Jogja.

Selain itu, lanjutnya, bus bumel tersebut pernah mendapatkan persaingan dari bus jurusan Surabaya-Jogja yang mengambil banyak penumpang. Namun kemudian ada aturan bus jurusan Surabaya-Jogja hanya boleh menaikkan penumpang di terminal.

Arga mengatakan masih ada kalangan penumpang setia angkutan trayek pendek Solo ke Jogja atau yang dikenal juga dengan istilah bus meteran itu. Mereka antara lain kalangan ibu-ibu bakulan di pasar.

Arga menyarankan perusahaan otobus jurusan Solo-Jogja untuk lebih mempercepat waktu tempuhnya. Misalkan begitu dapat penumpang langsung jalan.

Waktu tempuh sangat berpengaruh terhadap pertimbangan penumpang memilih moda transportasi umum. Para penumpang terutama yang berusia muda cenderung memilih transportasi umum yang tidak hanya hanya tapi juga cepat sampai tujuan. Belum lagi soal tarif. Semakin murah tarif angkutan umum akan semakin dipilih oleh penumpang.

Jaminan Keamanan

Pengamat transportasi umum dari Institut Studi Transportasi (Instran), Darmaningtyas, menyebut pelayanan dan ketepatan waktu akan menjadi kunci bagi para bus trayek Solo-Jogja untuk bisa bersaing dengan KRL maupun moda lainnya.

Menurutnya, masyarakat akan selalu menuntut pelayanan yang lebih baik dan tepat waktu. Ketika layanan KRL memberikan tawaran yang lebih baik dan memberikan kepastian waktu, tentu masyarakat akan beralih ke KRL dan meninggalkan bus.

“Apalagi layanan bus tidak memberikan jaminan keamanan, kenyamanan, dan kepastian waktu. Keberadaan pengamen di bus-bus antarkota jelas merupakan salah satu faktor ketidaknyamanan naik bus,” ucapnya.

Head Manager PT Suharno Ragil Putra, Arif Indra Jati saat dihubungi Solopos pada Minggu (12/6/2022), mengakui untuk inovasi PO bus bumel kesulitan untuk menyaingi moda transportasi atau infrastruktur, khususnya milik pemerintah.

“Kami modal sendiri sedangkan milik negara modal milik pemerintah, jelas sangat kontradiktif. Karena itu saya katakan tadi kami hanya bisa bertahan untuk melayani penumpang-penumpang kami yang sudah puluhan tahun berlangganan, penumpang-penumpang ‘lajon’ seperti karyawan pabrik, pedagang pasar, anak sekolah,” tegasnya.

Indra berharap ada perhatian dari pemerintah untuk bus bumel selain meminta bus bumel berbenah untuk memberikan kenyamanan dan keamanan dalam bagi para penumpang.

“Harapan saya untuk bus bumel trayek Jogja-Solo lebih baik dalam melayani penumpang, menjadi pilihan aman bertransportasi, dan saya mengharapkan pemerintah ikut serta mundukung dan melestarikan transportasi bumel Jogja-Solo dan bumel seluruh Indonesia,” ujarnya.
